Your diet is the most important aspect of a workout regimen. If you workout twice a week, but eat like Robert Downey Jr. (5000 calories a day), you will lose every bit of the progress you’ve made. Conversely, if you workout like Michael Phelps (8 hours everyday), but eat like a squirrel, you will never achieve the voluptuous curves of Mrs. Beyonce Knowles.

Beyonce’s Diet

Beyonce keeps her sculpts her figure by sticking to greens (fruits and veggies) and drink plenty of blues (water). She avoids reds (beef and pork), whites (carbohydrates), and clears (alcohol). There are countless research showing the benefits of working out in the morning. It wakes you up and kicks your metabolism up for the most part of your day. Beyonce is no different. She starts off her morning with a small bowl of cereal. She waits about half an hour to let it digest before doing 30 minutes of cardio, followed by 45 minutes of dumbbells. Cheat Food

With any long-term workout regimen, it is important to have a cheat food. Some have a favorite brand of soda, others crave a particular candy bar. Beyonce is particularly fond of chocolate. This is great because research has shown that dark chocolate helps your metabolism and contributes longevity. That doesn’t mean that it is not high in calories. Beyonce works hers off by doing plenty of running and watching her diet, overall.

You have to know what your goals are and keep them realistic. Write down your long term goal and then break it off into short-term reachable pieces. There is no feeling more satisfying than knowing that you’ve achieved something. The problem with just a long term goal is that many end up quitting because they can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your diet and goals realistic. Research show that it takes 12 weeks for good habits to overwrite the bad ones. Once good habits set in, your diet will feel much more natural. So keep your head high and push yourself.
